This is a live, hands-on Vision Board Workshop designed specifically for facilitators, trainers, and leaders in the Center for Visual Facilitation community.

Together, we’ll use visual thinking and simple collage/drawing exercises to map out your personal and professional vision for 2026.

In This 2-Hour Workshop, You Will:

  • Define Your Top 5 Core Values for 2026

  • Choose your Word of the Year

  • Capture your Big Ideas list for your work and life

  • Identify your #1 Focus Project for 2026

  • Sketch a simple Action Plan so you know what to do first, next, and after that

You do not need to be an artist. If you can draw simple shapes, write a few words, and are open to reflection, you’re ready.

Why I Start Each Year with a Vision Board

 

Before I started my business, I didn't give much thought to Vision Boards, Business Plans or Daily Routines.

But now that my income is tied directly to how well I live out my passions, rather than punching a clock, I have to be way more intentional about how I start my year, month and day. After all, it's hard to be passionate when you're half-focused, am I right?

That's why I started looking for new ways to make how I start a New Year count. 

I realized that having a vision for the next year can make a big impact on my life. Determining my word of the year, writing down my business goals, and revisiting my daily routines like taking the time to meditate before I go to sleep. 

But the biggest game changer? 

The yearly Vision Board. 

Not only do I create a new Vision Board every year (more on that later), I found that by doing a few extra things like revisiting my Business Plan can change everything and gives me superpowers to start my year!

To make the most of the session, please bring a journal or sketchbook along with your favorite pens, markers, or highlighters. You’re also welcome to gather optional materials such as magazines, sticky notes, printed words or images, and washi tape for collaging. Most importantly, set yourself up in a quiet space where you can think, draw, and plan with focus and creativity.
