The Center for Visual Facilitation

At the Center for Visual Facilitation, we specialize in using visuals to transform how people think, plan, and work together. Our mission is to help individuals and organizations harness the power of visual thinking to create clarity, collaboration, and innovation.

What We Do

We offer three core services designed to meet the growing demand for visual communication in today’s fast-paced, information-rich world:

1. Visual Facilitation for Events
   We provide professional visual facilitators for meetings, strategy sessions, and conferences—capturing key ideas in real time through engaging visuals that help teams see the big picture, align on priorities, and spark meaningful conversations.

2. Team Training for Organizations
   We teach teams inside organizations to use visual tools that enhance communication, collaboration, and onboarding. Our workshops empower trainers, leaders, and facilitators to integrate visuals into their daily work for greater clarity and engagement.

3. Professional Training for Individuals
   We train individuals who want to build or advance their careers in visual facilitation. Our structured pathway includes:

   • The Fundamentals — a foundational introduction to the tools, techniques, and mindset of visual facilitation.

   • The Intensive — an immersive, hands-on training designed to strengthen your visual storytelling and facilitation skills.

   • The Community — an ongoing space for connection, coaching, and collaboration.

   Graduates of our programs are invited to join the Visual Facilitation Network, a global community of professionals who continue to learn, grow, and collaborate on projects around the world.

Our Story

Founded by Diane Bleck, a pioneer in the field of visual facilitation, the Center builds on more than 25 years of experience helping organizations visualize complex ideas and collaborate more effectively. Diane has partnered with Fortune 500 companies—including Google, Disney, Mars, and Coca-Cola—to bring ideas to life through visuals that engage, inspire, and align teams.

Before founding the Center, Diane created The Doodle Institute in 2014 to teach people how to unlock their creativity at home, school, and work. Over 24,500 students have joined the Institute, learning how to use drawing as a tool for thinking, learning, and communication.

Since launching the Visual Facilitation Training Program in 2020, the Center has grown into a global hub for visual practitioners—training individuals, teams, and organizations to use visuals as a strategic tool for communication and innovation.

The Visual Facilitation Training Pathway

The Fundamentals

This foundational course introduces the essential tools, techniques, and mindset of visual facilitation. You’ll learn how to use simple drawings to capture complex ideas, organize group discussions, and communicate visually with clarity and confidence. It’s the perfect starting point for anyone ready to bring visuals into their meetings, trainings, or coaching sessions.

The Intensive

Our advanced training experience designed for those ready to take their visual practice to the next level. Through hands-on exercises, live facilitation practice, and personalized feedback, you’ll strengthen your visual storytelling, layout design, and facilitation presence—developing the confidence to lead visual sessions in real time.

The Community

An ongoing professional space for growth, support, and collaboration. Members of The Community continue to refine their skills through live sessions, peer sharing, and access to new tools and resources. Graduates are invited to join the Visual Facilitation Network, a global circle of facilitators who continue to learn and create impact together.

Diane Bleck is a professional Visual Facilitator & Innovation Strategist with 20 years of experience working with 300+ companies including Nike, Google, Mars and Disney, bringing their big ideas to life. From the stages of Caesars Palace to the most exclusive leadership retreats, Diane has been invited to join the conversation, share her knowledge, and lead teams to success. Her teaching style is fun, interactive, and engaging.
