About the Founder
Diane Bleck
Diane Bleck is a pioneer in the field of visual facilitation and visual thinking, with more than two decades of experience helping people think, work, and lead more clearly together.
She began her career long before visual facilitation became a widely recognized practice, working at the intersection of strategy, facilitation, and visual sense-making. Over the years, Diane has partnered with leaders, teams, and organizations to support high-stakes conversations, strategic planning, and organizational change using visuals as a tool for clarity and alignment.
Diane is known for her calm presence at the front of the room. Rather than arriving with predetermined answers, she creates the conditions for groups to think together. Her work emphasizes listening, sense-making, and guiding conversations in real time, using simple visual frameworks to make complexity visible and shared.
Through the Center for Visual Facilitation, Diane has helped shape the next generation of visual facilitators by moving the practice beyond graphic recording alone. Her approach supports practitioners in stepping into broader roles as facilitators and strategic partners, trusted not just for what they draw, but for how they lead conversations and decision-making.
In addition to her facilitation work, Diane is a teacher, coach, and community builder. She has trained facilitators around the world and is deeply committed to developing visual facilitation as a professional practice grounded in clarity, humanity, and thoughtful leadership.
The Center for Visual Facilitation reflects Dianeโs belief that visual work is not about performance or polish. It is about helping people slow down, see what matters, and move forward together with intention.
